When your teacher comes to you, students and parents avoid traveling to a school or studio. Students receive their music education in a familiar, secure, and safe environment year round, including summer instruction.
We offer morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend time slots for your convenience. Lakewood Ranch Music caters to each student’s musical level from serious classical training to Broadway, pop, and jazz.
Music instructors are dedicated to the musical growth of each student. Instructors are educated in curriculum, instruction, and are committed to nurturing a passion for music while providing a solid technical base. Our teachers are graduates of The Julliard School, Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory, Manahattan School of Music, New York University, among others.
Encouragement is important to your child’s musical education, along with a commitment to practice time. Without parental support, a child may lose interest in their instrument. At Lakewood Ranch Music, we want to nurture the love of music in all of our students, and parents play an important role. Please speak with teachers about practice and instructional goals so that you are aware of your student’s musical journey and how you can assist.
Our students participate in various auditions including Broadway, Regional Band and All-State Band performances, Jazz Bands, Orchestras, Marching Bands and Rock Bands. WHM students have been accepted as music majors at colleges and universities both for their specific instrument and for music production programs.
Lakewood Ranch Music offers instruction in music production including: music technology and audio engineering (Pro Tools, Logic, Cakewalk, Cubase, Reason, ect.). These lessons are designed for students interested in recording, music production and audio engineering. Students have the opportunity to be a part of professional studio recordings with top musicians.
Lakewood Ranch Music instructors motivate and encourage students to succeed in their musical studies by encouraging a consistent practice routine, offering a satisfying repertoire of music choices, working with students on music compositions, and by providing performance opportunities
Our Winter and Spring Student Recitals offer a unique and enriching musical experience for students of all ages and ability levels. Performances build confidence, showcase musical progression and talents, and allow students to listen to their peers perform.
